I just wanted to say all the feedback, comments, emails and support over the years is really flattering. It’s been absolutely amazing. I sincerely appreciate the whole lot of ya’ll.
Truth is, marketing is far from my favorite thing to do. I’m sure you could tell. I’m more of a artist at heart. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about abandoning marketing and sales type of stuff. I can find more enjoyment by sitting in a hammock next to the river. Or throwing a frisbee with the dog.
However, by far it’s been the people in our community that has kept me inspired, interested, and has created a atmosphere where we all learn from each other in so many ways.
I have “internet friends” that I know better then my own family members, and I’ve never actually seen them in person.
We have a really cool group of people with a lot of really great talents. And while I sometimes bitch and moan about the bad seeds in internet marketing, by far the good outweighs the bad.
I have some amazing people that I work with and network with and I’m super grateful for that. It’s you folks that keep me going and make me realize there is a bigger purpose to the internet then just hocking some goods.
I know how to sell well. In fact, a bit too well. In the past, that bothered me.
Since I’ve teamed up with so many good spirited, and forward thinking people it’s easy to transform that mind set because the more I sell, the more abundance I bring into others lives. I love selling good stuff.
And the more good stuff I sell online, the better time I have. That’s really the damn secret, just sell really super awesome stuff! Perioid. No need to buy my product. I just told ya what to do.
Okay, it’s not quite that easy. But when you sell really kick ass stuff, it becomes way easier, and you feel so much better.
I’ve done a total overhaul of my business recently. I deleted any website that didn’t make me feel good. I sold other sites that I had no passion in. And I literally threw away perfectly good income streams that were totally legit just because “it didn’t make me feel good”.
When you base your judgments on “does that make me feel good?” it’s amazing at the result. Sure, I pissed away some money, and online real estate, but screw it. I have better things to build.
Anyhow, just wanted to say thanks. This marketing thing wouldn’t be the same without all ya’ll.

Sounds refreshing, I have been trying to find a way to make some GOOD money on the internet for more than 4 years. Only to loose about 1/2 of my (partial) disability buying all kinds of neat and nifty ways to lose my money. Not one of them has actually “shown” how to USE their “fantastic” programs to make anyone but them money.

Daniel, I’m sure at least one of those programs has to have some value. If not, you may start paying attention to the buyer side of it as opposed to the seller. I’d do a bit more due diligence before you buy anything else. Best of luck.

Yep, it’s pretty crazy! Great for a researcher and hustler though.
I’ve been a big believer in honest, for a long time. Part of which is that I’ve gotten a pretty good sense of who has actually ever sold things for a living. Not Internet marketing, but actual face to face selling. They are more into “How you can make money by ‘monetizing,’ your list/website/etc.,” than what the customer/client gets from you. The list of those with the right attitude isn’t all that big.
Right now, I’m almost done writing a book for micro businesses (really small ones), on how to do really effective Advertising, Marketing, and Selling. The same principles apply no matter where they’re done. Starting and ending with honesty, and being yourself.

Wow, I don’t believe it! I actually learned something new about researching a niche market. If your have any confusion whatsoever about how to research a market and whether or not it is profitable, you definitely need to watch this video. My guess is you’re going to hear something you haven’t heard before. Nice going Jason.

Jason, the messages in your “Truth Serum” report come to me at the perfect time. I have been reading Wayne Dyer’s “Excuses Begone!” book, and I just read Joe Vitale’s “Attract Money Now” book the other day. Dyer focuses on eliminating excuses, Vitale focuses on thinking about what one wants instead of what one does not want want, and you focus on the power of being truthful in one’s product reviews, etc. — exactly my approach at my SpryFeet.com website, which I launched in June to help runners and walkers. Thank you for “giving before you get” — my philosophy, too. And thanks for the mindfulness exercises — a wonderful complement to Wayne’s and Joe’s advice.

Love both the Truth Serum and the $50,000 Research Swipe, the TS for it’s excellent philosphical approach and insight into the problems with controlling your thoughts (not to mention that oh-so rare internet commodity honesty!).
The Swipe is great for someone (Like me!) who had no idea how to do such useful research online!

I so love how much the marketing training I’ve been doing lately concentrates on the profound simplicity of being a person of high integrity in life AND business. As a yoga instructor I’m also thrilled by the amount of big successes such as yourself who make a point to say how having a meditation practice is an integral part of that success.
I also actually like the fact that your grammar isn’t perfect – it’s good for me. I edit my boyfriend’s reports and communications out and am constantly getting better at not being frustrated by mistakes. I just help him correct them and instead concentrate on what awesome content he’s sharing. We’re all human. 🙂

I’m glad to see “someone” telling the truth these days, very uncommon. I was just thinking the other day how it seems like basic values like truth and honesty just aren’t present anymore in the internet marketing arena. I have also decided to take the exact same approach and just tell it like it is, the only problem is so many people have been scammed and lied to so much they can’t even see the truth when its put in front of them. All we can do is get one person at a time. Maybe this whole truth concept will manifest itself hugely and clean up some of the negativity surrounding this market. The report was spot on. I learned a similar method for “watching my thoughts” many years ago and it was definitely life changing.
Marketing can be a great method for learning about yourself, because the excuses we get away with in so many areas of life just don’t get us anything. We either make something work or it doesn’t.
The feedback of no one buying what we are selling is cold hard truth about it, all other intentions aside.
If we can use the lessons learned to grow as people, we’ve still acheived something.

I’m with you, Greg. We should all just be given “all of the information required to start, run and maintain an ongoing profitable business online” free to us, preferably on a silver platter. I mean why should I have to pay anything for this knowledge? Who cares that I’m just a lazy pan-handler who wants to reap the rewards of other’s who invested their money, time, blood, sweat and tears to learn what it takes. Who cares that people pay their dues to learn any other trade. Who cares people invest tens of thousands in college educations to end up making less than many do on the Internet. This knowledge should be free for the asking. In fact, I think they should actually hold our hands as they personally mentor us through the entire process until we have built a successful online business and they should never get one red cent for their expertise not time. I mean after all, this IS the Internet we’re talking about.

First of all I wouldn’t doom yourself from the beginning by assuming your bank account is going to be out of money. Secondly, from the 2 sentences you just wrote I’d say you need to work on your English when writing, or just do videos instead. You’re gonna need to study some copy buddy. Your broken sentences probably won’t fly either. Not trying to be harsh, but honest. Adwords is gonna be tough for you unless you are promoting one hell of a product. I do wish you the best of luck. Keep hustling, just be careful.

If I’ve learned something in a big way this year by experience, being accustomed to getting/earning/making/having something “EASY” is the biggest poison you can feed your mind.

I run a number of sites including two healing related communities online. One is about urine therapy, and the other is about tinnitus. I also help people with songwriting, music composition, and sight-singing.
You know, I do very well in SEO, and it’s interesting, because I was thinking of releasing a report on how I do it. And I will reveal the SECRET right here…it is SINCERITY. Period. That’s it.
Sincerity wins. Clearly communicated content sincerely dedicated to a focused topic will soar to the top of Google in a split second. Sure, ya gotta know a bit about keywords and headlines and stuff, but the tech stuff, at least for the rankings that I’ve gained, can be learned in like 30 minutes. And it’s the level of sincerity that creates the real results.
I’m experiencing a really cool shift as my online income is starting to become, let’s say…real.

I think the info about flippa.com is worth the price of admission all by itself. I knew about the completed listings tab in ebay but flippa can really focus on your target market like few others.
I want to add my comments about the PDF report. The content was fine but it WAS hard to read. The 3 column format forces you to constantly scroll up and down to read the report on screen.

Nothing new in the report or in the video for me, however, I am sure it will be helpful to many of the noobs on line. You do make a nice video though.
