During the last few weeks I’ve become pretty good friends with a stand up comedian named Kyle Cease. He’s such a devoted, hard working and driven person when it comes to his craft. Watching him in his element on stage has been a tremendous learning experience for me during the last month. His energy and commitment to growing and teaching has been very inspiring.
So yesterday I get a message from him on Facebook and he says…. “Watch the video posted on my page labeled the truth. so good!”.

Shit yeah. This video is what I try to explain to my friends who ask “How do you do it”. I tell em it ain’t easy, but it’s worth it because I want it.
This one must be making the rounds, as someone sent it to me yesterday. It is very profound. In my swim group this morning, the coach made us do “no breathers.” That’s when you have to go all the way across the pool without taking a breath. She made us do EIGHT of them. By the end of each lap, you want oxygen SO BAD, that you’re ready to die. I was thinking about the video, and using that feeling for motivation.

LAME! he goes on for 9 minutes just saying you need to give up everything to try to get ahead but how to get ahead is the mystery?
how do we get ahead? not just by wishing hard enough huh?
we need some software that will do internet marketing on the cheap for us.
traffic is the key and the more targeted the better.
Wrong. It’s not about software, or traffic. It’s about skill and hustle. You get ahead by TAKING ACTION. And then taking MORE ACTION. Not looking for some software to do it on the cheap.
Needs to be the RIGHT action. Mindless action alone doesn’t do it.
However action can eventually lead to right action by trial, error, or luck through persistance.
Action doesn’t have to be hard or exhausting either. I got tired just listening to all the shouting.
Rather than climbing a mountain of huge effort to prove something to myself or to others, if I handle something right in front of me, at my fingertips, or laying at my feet, just a small thing, and actually do it, that is enough. Then repeat.
I suppose there’s all kinds of motivation though, as there are all kinds of people, all with various needs.
I hear ya bro. Sometimes I get tiresome of people preaching about non specifics and not really giving people a clear path on how to succeed. But I think each person has to find their own path and the journey of trial and error requires you to just jump in and start swimming.
Some times we need to test if our Dream Works and get a clear Pixar vision and don’t let our Brother Bear all the burden before we reach our Disney World. If we think we have arrived and simply provide for ourselves and don’t contribute whether it be wealth of mind or funds, We all as a planet will die unless we take lessons from nature and spread the perpetual force that has been locked up. We need a perfect engine or all the skill and hustle and action for most of us will be just more hassles. I’ve seen this this engine work for real. Too many say the bee can’t fly even when it does.We need too take a leap of faith with courage all of us together. Jason it really is like riding the perfect wave.

Creating value only comes from one thing. As Jason said, it is taking action and more action. Jack Welch of GE did not grow the company because he was smarter than any other CEO’s. He grew it because he took massive amounts of action.

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful. This kind of thinking is beautiful. Now imagine the perfect truth that will bring perfect peace. This in itself is one of the most fought at riddles of all time. We as human beings try to strike things our way instead of spinning them for others. This is our only real enemy in our life. This is the thing that can really suck. It can absolutely make your life suck down to the dirt (I can think of all kinds of 4 letter words to describe)I know this because I’ve experienced Hell on earth. I have been out of work for nearly 2 years. I was tired of looking at my beautiful family and thinking I’ve hit rock bottom. But life is really beautiful. When you hit the dirt and you don’t lose the wits that God gave you, you then realize that it was dirt where all life was created. When we get this, then all the air around us becomes heaven. We all breath the air. Tony Robbins is a wonderful man but he isn’t omnipresent. He can’t be there to provide breakthrough for everyone. We all have the responsibilities to clean up this earth and provide a safe environment for our families and others to enjoy. Let me put this in perfect perspective. If our leader of this nation puts the label of all the people on this country and world, Things will be glorious. If he strikes his name on it we will all be just another Obama Nation. I love my country and my world and If it weren’t for my beautiful family It wouldn’t matter if I was six feet under the dirt. I now have had my Damascus experience I would love to soar. Science says by its numbers that our planet will die with our present resources. This is the same ones that say the bee can’t fly. Thankfully the bee can’t hear there opinions. It’s time for us all to stop concentrating on just being busy and get our ass in gear. We need to bee buzzy.If we see something beautiful and incredible in our hearts , there should bee no force in Hell to keep us from sharing with others. Skill without the wheel will lead to just more hassle for most of us. I know I sound like a hippy, but you won’t ever see me put a broken cross in the center of the symbol of perpetualality and say peace.I’m not on drugs I’m not a hippy I’m a hope bee. You might think I’m some kind of dork but some of us dorks have door keys.
Heck, even if it is just rah rah woot woot fluff…. some days you just need to hear that as a reminder. The guy is speaking to high schoolers, and isn’t going to tell them specifics for every career (i.e. internet marketing, and gathering traffic). Today, this was an awesome message for me to hear.
The only thing I didn’t like is the way he phrased it, he makes it sound like success is the only thing that matters… which olympic athletes, Beyonce, etc… do focus only on the goal. But, when phrased like that, the thing that came to my mind is that that sounds like permission to stab people in the back. I.e. Do whatever it takes to get to #1. I’d rather be #3 – which is still pretty successful – but have amazing relationships with amazing people, that I know are real.
