Jake Shimabukuro! The Most Beautiful Piece Of Music Ever!!!

Hello friends,

This week I had such an incredible time while in Orlando for Ed Dale’s
30 Day Challenge event. One of the things that made the whole week
was a tip about a video.

This video has blown me away, and I wanted to share it with you. I hope
that you will share it with others. This guy Jake Shimabukuro deserves
every bit of press he can get. I’m blown away.

The video is of Jake playing a “Ukulele” in Central Park NY. The song
he plays is George Harrison’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. I guarantee
that you have never seen a version such as this. And, most of you will
be in disbelief that this dude is even playing a ukulele.

Check out the video by clicking here.

  1. What a sound! What makes it even better is that George Harrison was nuts about Ukes. Supposedly every track on his posthumously released CD “Brainwashed” had a ukulele buried deep in the rhythm track.

Thanks for sharing this killer video!

  2. Holy Crap! That is the most amazing thing I have ever heard on ANY stringed instrument, much less the lowly ukelele! Thanks a million for sharing that…

  3. I got my first uke last year for my 42nd birthday and have been a big fan of Jake since then. Anybody who thinks a ukulele is a “novelty” instrument needs to listen to Shimabukuro.

    Jay

PS – Okay, in my hands it *is* a novelty instrument, but that’s not the uke’s fault!
