How To Make More Money With Your Webinars

Aloha my friends, Jason Profit Moffatt here and in this post I'm going to show you three different ways that you can make a lot more money with your webinars.

Now I've been truly blessed throughout my career in internet marketing to have brought in millions of dollars with webinars. I do believe without a shadow of a doubt that webinars are the easiest and the quickest way to make large sums of money.

And I think that these tips will help anybody who is trying to do webinars. Also, I'm going to throw in a fourth bonus tip. In fact, let's just get it out of the way right now. So with that plug out of the way, let's get to your three tips on how you can make more money with webinars.

1. Make Your Webinars Longer Than You May Think

So the first tip is about the length of time of the webinar. Now this is going to seem very counterintuitive to many of you out there because so many people are pressed for time.  I totally understand why someone may want to get through their webinar presentation in 30 minutes or 40 minutes. That's a bad move.

If you want to sell something for a thousand dollars or more, you often need to spend at least an hour with somebody to really convince them and to overcome any objections. You may need to help them overcome any hurdles that they may be facing that's preventing them from buying. Sometimes even an hour isn't enough time.

Most of the webinars I do are at least 90 minutes. And to be honest, the ones that I've made the most amount of money with were three hours, even up to four hours long. I know that seems insane and excessive, but here's my thinking. If I do a two-hour presentation and then I open up the Q and A floor, as long as somebody is asking questions, I'm going to stick around to answer them because people are listening and they haven't made up their mind yet.

And until you close the webinar, people are looking for any reason to say no, or yes. They're trying to convince themselves to say yes, and sometimes they need that extra bit of reassurance. Or it's that one question that you answer that will help them say yes. So, if I do a webinar and there is still someone on the end asking questions, I'm going to stick around as long as there is questions because I know without a shadow of a doubt that it brings in more money.

Yes, three and four hours, give it a try. I've had partners freak out on us at times thinking... "This is crazy. This is never going to work." And then they saw the sales stats and they're like. "Oh man, you know what you're doing!" We've done this so many times and it works so don't be afraid to go long. 

The more time somebody spends with you, the more it really helps them to galvanize to you, to your community and to whatever idea it is that you're trying to present and it inevitably helps you make more sales.

2. Leave Comments On Your Most Recent Facebook Posts

The second thing that I want to encourage you to do is right before you go live on your webinar, go to your Facebook page, or you could even do this on your personal profile if you conduct business there.  

Go to the last seven posts that you made throughout the last week or two, and let everybody know in the comments... "Hey, we're about to go live in 15 minutes with this thing" and put the link right there.

The reason that you do this is because people will get a notification in Facebook about your comment. When you leave that comment, anyone who had commented before in that particular thread is going to get a notification letting them know you responded and many are going to click over to see it.

I had never done this until last week. We have a very active Facebook page for one of the businesses I run, so I just went back to the old posts and in the comments I let everybody know about 15 minutes ahead of time that a new webinar was about to start. By doing this we drove about a hundred more people onto the webinar just from that tactic alone. 

3. Give Away Cash And Prizes

Finally, the third tip that I want to give you to make more money with your webinars is simply to give away stuff, particularly cash. Keep reading because I'm going to show you how to give away cash without actually having to give away the cash.

 When I'm doing webinars, I really like to encourage engagement in the chat. When the chat is booming and active, you tend to make more money. The social proof is off the hook and people get excited when they see that others are engaged.

It gives them almost a sense of FOMO or fear of missing out. They want to be part of all this action that's going on. So to increase the action in the chat, I will often just say to the group...

"Somebody type in I'm going to be a millionaire in the chat". And then I pick someone and give away a hundred bucks. And then everybody starts typing... I'm going to be a millionaire and it gets them completely engaged. 

The more that you can get somebody engaged in the chat and engaged in the presentation, the more they are going to pay attention and the more money you're going to make. So, I'll give away a hundred dollars or more to encourage this.

In fact, I might give away two or $300, multiple different times throughout the webinar, and I'll also give away courses and the courses are great because they're digital items that don't cost us anything. 

I can give away thousand dollar courses in the comments doesn't cost me anything. Then I can advertise the upcoming webinar mentioning that I'm going to give away thousand of dollars worth of cash and prizes.

Now here's the super-duper ninja trick when I give away cash. I often give people the opportunity to trade that cash for a digital product that is valued five or maybe 10 times more than the cash. So when someone sends me to collect their prize, I'll reply back to them and say... "Hey congratulations Bob, I'm super stoked that you won a. I can do one of two things. I can send you a a hundred dollars to your PayPal right now, or I can give you access to these two seminars where $799. It's totally your choice.

I'd guess that about 80% of the time if you make that offer, they'll take the product over the hundred bucks.

So those are three webinar strategies that absolutely work. This is not theory. These are time tested strategies that I know work I have been doing them for the last 17 years.
