So here is my stand up comedy debut at The Comedy Store in Hollywood California. I had a blast working with so many talented people this week. It truly was an amazing time and I feel super lucky to have met so many exceptional and fun people during the week.
I want to thank all the bootcampers that I spent the week with and especially Kyle Cease and Louie Anderson for being such amazing teachers and friends. They are truly great dudes. Also Kyle’s brother Kevin was pivotal in helping me out. And I can’t forget how valuable it was to be able to work on my set with Bret Ernst and Ruben Paul. Your feedback was incredibly worthy and helped out a ton. Thanks so much.
Hope you enjoy.
(WARNING: If you are offended by adult humor, drug jokes or sexual references please don’t view). However, if you did enjoy please feel free to share with others.
Cheers,

Funny shit man! loved it…
Reminds me of something called “Twitter for the shitter” some dude wrote sometime in history… maybe when you were in the strip club bathroom you should have tweeted for help… haha!
Keep it up bro!

Hello Jason,
Big props for sticking it out there and having the courage to actually end up on stage. That in and of itself is a great feat. Even George Carlin and Lenny Bruce were not perfect their first time around. As you gain experience and by watching your own act on video, I’m sure you will be able to deliver knockout acts in the future.
As you know from Internet Marketing business, nothing is ever perfect the first time we execute it but we have to put ourselves out there in order to gather the experience, such that we can keep improving the formula until it is a super hit.
You already are a super hit in Internet Marketing and I’m sure that didn’t happen overnight. I think you can be a fabulous comedian by consistently polishing your act like you have your businesses. Not everyone is a natural and most people need to practice more than others, but the fact that you have actually laid a foundation stone for yourself in this realm actually allows you for the possibility of greater success and now that you consciously feel that at least you’ve opened the door for yourself, at least the monkey is off your back and a huge weight lifted off your shoulder.
People will have their opinions, but like the great comedian Robert Schimmel said, if he focuses on other peoples’ opinions about his act, he would never be able to deliver a single punchline on stage.
You can’t let this bother you in delivering your material, not that I’m saying that it does, however when on stage performing for the first time, the jitters can get to you, as you may have experienced. It’s just human to feel that way.
At first, while I watched you, I was continuously tempted to compare you to professional comedians, but had to keep in mind that it would be unfair to you if I blatantly passed a judgement on you if I compared you with them, since this was your first time.
So as I watched you, I had to be in the moment and appreciate your delivery instead comparing you to others at the back of my head.
If I had done that, I would have myopically dismissed your act immediately and heckled you in this post
All in all, the effort you made and the monkey off the back are two things that will now elevate you onto the next level with practice and preparation.
All the best dude!

Jason, that was fanfreakintastic… You did great! Appreciate you sharing it! D~
Your a cracker! Talk about going for what you want. Respect bro. Great performance. You must have been scared hardcore as a child. 😛
Jason…
Impressive… that takes serious cajones. When you stepped on stage I was nervous, and I’m sitting on my couch.
Well done JMo,
Whether you were funny or not is irrelevant (although for the record you had me laughing). I think the main point for people to take away is that you just got out there and did it. Your way.
That’s what I’ve always respected about you. Your life, your rules. A lot of people are afraid to live that way. For me this is just another example of you doing something because you could. In my book that’s never a bad thing. 🙂
Cheers,
Nez
Bro! you got big ball’s 😎
I spoke in front of a group of 2,000 but to get up and do what you did was awesome!!
I would be so nervous I would need something for the nerves.
You need to send a copy of your act to the stripper and help save some poor guys cojones from abuse.
Keep it up my friend.
Dennis
Gong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Jason,
Your post didn’t sound like an invitation for a comedy critique… more like sharing something awesome that you’ve decided to share.
I watched, enjoyed, and appreciated your video.
You sounded a lot like I sound when I’m REALLY nervous but holding myself together. It seems like this was really important to you, and I hope any negative comments that come through don’t hold you back from rocking it next time.
Take care,
Brian
You crushed it Moffatt! Really funny… duck duck goose… eesh! hahhaaaa
Keep em’ coming dude!
Chris
Nice job man! I’ve done stand-up once at the Improv and I was more freaked out and nervous then before I spoke to 3,000 people in the UK. 😉
You got a lot of funny in you!
-Yanik
I remember seeing you do that bit. Yeah, it’s way more nerve racking than doing IM speeches. Thanks for stopping by.
Way to go all balls out!
Loved it Mate … well done.
Don’t sweat the haters.
Cheers,
Shane
