  1. I’d also like to add,

One of the reasons I decided to help Cy is because she is actually “Taking Action” and doing stuff online.

Not many people actually spend the time to get their products into the public, and make a honest effort at internet marketing.

I’d like to say, thanks to one of my really good buddies Cy now has received a bit of money in exchange for some writing work for my bud.

She’s not looking for handouts. And that is what really impressed me and compelled me to help out.

Check out her product, and see if it’s something that you’d like to purchase or promote to someone else.

    Thanks

  2. Yo J,
Gave as much as I could even though the move out to Idaho has got me close to the danger zone financially…I’m a big believer in helping each other out. Alone we are just marketers together we can be a juggernaut.

Dude…Can I borrow some money now? LoL J/K

  3. I can’t help except if she wants to partner with me or enter a JV agreement of some kind. My financial position is precarious as it is. I have lots of time to promote my business AND hers.

Hey, this is how a lot of profitable relationships are started.

Let me know if there’s any interest by return email.

    Thanks.

    Wayne Lightbody.

  4. Hi Jason.

I sent a little to Cy to help out.
Not much but I wanted to do something.

My brother was in an abusive relationship
(believe it or not, the woman was the one
doing the abusing in his case…very strange
but true – how do you defend yourself when
you’ve been taught from the cradle not to
    hit a woman, huh?)

Anyway, I wasn’t able to send a lot, but I
did send what I could. In a situation like this, if everyone who hears Cy’s story would
just send a few dollars, I believe it eventually adds up to enough.

    Tina

  5. Jason, than you for telling Cy’s story. I don’t know her but I am glad to have the chance to help. Please keep us informed of her progress in getting free and established in a new place with her children.

  6. This just kills me. My cousin was stabbed by her ex-husband (at the time husband) in the leg but he was trying to kill her and she just barely got away…

I will post about this on my blog (though it doesn’t get a ton of traffic it gets some) and send a few dollars though I don’t have much.

Yes please let us know about her progress..

    Angela

  7. Jason,

You mentioned Cy had a negative balance in her Paypal. I took the liberty of taking care of that. I have sent $250 via Paypal to Cy.

I too had a rough father towards my mother. I also have 2 sons of my own and another on the way. I can only imagine what she is going thru, so hopefully somehow, someway this deed may serve a good purpose in her life.

Hopefully it provides a moral boost. Sounds like she had the most horrible part with the physical altercation and she still has kids to look after. It’s important that her moral stays up and that she focuses on whats important in her life. Hopefully, this will lift her spirits, I know it did mine.

    Best,
    Ruck

PS — Good job on the blog and vids man.
Your a riot and I visit everyday. But, get your myspace fixed, cuz I want to hear more songs. That’s all I got for now.

  8. wow, this is truly awesome, not the story but the support that Im seeing. Total strangers helping out another fellow marketer who is in need of some help right now. this is truly touching to me. I dont usually come here but i read it on my homie Rucks blog so i wanted to pop in here. I myself have been going thru some tuff times financially and i was starting to get down on myself but then i read this and it reminds me that its not that bad really, i still got a roof over my head (even though im 30 days behind) and a loving family that is still supportive of me even though im a out of work mortgage funder/struggling IMer. Im actually happy i read this tonight(actually it morning now), I am gonna chip in with what I can. I can only afford enough for a family meal but im gonna be praying for her and the kids as well. Thank you all for what everyone is doing. I love how the online community is coming together on this.

  9. Jason, it’s good you made a video about this or I wouldn’t have known. We’ve donated out of our business.

But more importantly, Marquetta is going to send a blast to our list. Hopefully this will create a quick $5,000 or so for her to get her going.

  10. Hey everyone, you are all rock-stars.

We’ve helped Cy out tremendously and have just about reached the minimum goal to make sure she’s safe and off to a new town. Truly amazing!  But let’s not stop at the minimum goal, let’s see if we can really set her up well so she has something to build on.
You should all be very proud.

  11. This type of effort is an example of the finest that people can do to help each other in times of need, with the help of the internet and each other. Thanks Jason for organizing on Cy’s behalf, and kudos to all who are helping out.

You folks are an example of what’s best in human character. Teamwork overcomes adversity, and you are all great examples of how to help one another.

  12. Just bought the product and after having time to review it will promote.

Best wishes to Cy. Please don’t go it alone. Wherever your new home there are services available to help you and the kids. The emotional support is as important as the financial support.

Thanks Justin for allowing us to help.

  13. Not where you are located or if Cyrell is, temporarily, plugged into a family shelter, but there should be some incredibly important resources by where you all live. This is CRUCIAL right now, there is no need to be in hotels every night – there are really, really GOOD places for families in this situation in most places around the country. AND will empower her to not contemplate going back to this low-life.

Here, for example, is one for families in Northern Colorado:
    http://www.crossroadssafehouse.org/service.html

If she has not plugged into this type of resource yet, make sure you help to to(or call the number on the link above and they should be able to help find one in your area).

I’ve not picked up anything from you (at least of yet) but am familiar w/ yr reputation. I work in the music biz and am in Rich Schefren’s program, btw if you track this sort of thing….and picked it up her product for the same. Appreciate you doing this for someone you work with as I have in the same situation w/ a few my employees over the years – it matters, it helps.

  14. I am not doing so well financially myself, but I at least came up with 20, and I am joining her affiliate program and giving her all the proceeds to get to a safe place with her kids. Way to Go Jason, for bringing this to us!

  15. Saw this posted on the Warrior forum and felt compelled to send some money.

I saw my mother get abused as a child. I can’t describe how awesome it was when I became a teenager and promptly put an end to all that s***.

    It was a great feeling.

Hopefully Cy gets back on her feet soon.

    Brian

  16. This story brought back dreadful memories, and my heart goes out to you Cy.
Please believe that your life will become wonderful, you have taken the hardest step and now have the security of peace of mind, I learned that material things are unimportant and that help comes from the most surprising places.
I wish you all that you may wish for yourself and your children.
I have sent a small token to your paypal account.

    Sue

  17. Iam a Canadian, Also a Security Specialist & P.I.
If CY & Kids need a place to get away from that shithead.
I can offer my place, no strings attached, she /kids would be Extremely SAFE HERE.

    Norm Little

  18. Jason and Mike Morgan – kudo’s to you you for letting us know – thank you.

Hang in there Cy and kids – talk to us, even it is through the blog – please don’t try and go it alone – your friends are here!

Busy contacting my list and money has already been sent from us marketers here in South Africa.

    Leon

  19. Awesome response, everybody!

I’ve sent some money via Paypal, and also offered Cy a complimentary copy of our course on the Law of Attraction. When a woman (or anyone) is in a horrible situation like this, she can tend to feel powerless and helpless. And I have always had a dream of helping battered women with our course and the empowerment that follows. So I’m very grateful for the opportunity to help.

Cy, if you’re reading this, please do contact me so we can get it to you either in print and CD’s, or digitally, if you want to keep your location absolutely secret. It’s completely up to you, I totally understand. 🙂

    Big hugs,
    Jessica

  20. I don’t know Cy, but I can’t stand the thought of someone being treated that way, especially when there are children involved. I just sent some money to her PayPal account. I hope she gets to a new place safely.

    Denise

  21. I pray to my Jehova God in name of my Lord JC that give blessing to Cy and his dear family with material and spiritual wealth. Thus it will be!

  22. Some time ago, I exchanged a couple emails with Cy and she came forward with some great suggestions and I could see she´s a beautiful person with a great heart.

Alvin Huang suggested a report or ebook cover for Cy´s product to increase conversions and I think that´s a very CLEVER way to support Cy.

Not only a one time shot of help but someting that would bring profits regularly.

Personally as a professional direct response designer, if Cy would like me to, I´d be happy to offer my design services to design not a report cover only but to offer my premium minisite package.

You guys let me know and I´ll start with it asap.

I´m really glad to see so many wonderful people helping Cy.

    God bless,
    Paulo

  23. Really like the idea of “rallying the troops” for “one of us” in need. Great job, Jason. Please keep us informed about Cy and family. I’m sure we’ll all be glad to hear when she is safe and sound again.

    Sandy

  24. Hi,

This is my first time here but I have gotten an email from Mike Mike Morgan and what touched me was Not only did I witness my own mother almost being killed by one of her boyfriends, but it so important that she gets out and its nice to see so many who care. I am also going to help her in every way I can. I would like to say thanks for caring it really means a lot to anyone out there who is being abused to have support and the a way out.

  25. Please let Cy know that I have done energy healing for her, for “emerging from catastrophe” and “Abundance & Success.” And, so you all know, the Emerging from Catastrophe healing is available free on my website at zemirahealing.com/katrina

  26. I don’t know you, but Mike mentioned the situation and my heart goes out to Cy. About 15 years ago, I left an abusive relationship with two young sons – one 3 and one 6. And I had nothing but a freelance check coming my way. It’s been a hard road (still is), but I’ve never regretted leaving and there’s no doubt in my mind that Cy will feel the same way. I am going to send her a quick email too… just to let her know she’s in my prayers and thoughts. I must encourage her to seek the assistance of a center for prevention of abuse – she needs professional assistance at this time in her life. These men can be quite dangerous… Blessings to you for sharing this need,

    Brenda

  27. Jason,

You’ve got a big heart, Jason. And so do your
blog readers. It’s great to see the power of this community. Thanks for sharing Cy’s story with us. I’m glad I was able to help.

  28. Jason

You should be commended for taking it upon yourself to tell Cy’s story- Many women who are in this position have “no one” to turn to- I sent some money to her Paypal – My thoughts and prayers are with her and her children
