Howdy Friends,
Starting February 1st, there are some significant changes coming to Gmail and Yahoo email deliverability and it's crucial you know about them if you want to avoid the spam folder.
Instead of trying to explain these changes myself, let me give it to you from some more knowledgable and reputable sources...
>> This One Is From The Horses Mouth Of Google
>> This One Is From A Reputable Email Service Constant Contact
I encourage you to read them or have whoever handles your tech issues to read them before you send out any bulk emails starting in February.
I know this may seem like a major pain in the rear but it's something you definitely need to do if you implement email marketing in your business.
A lot of people are talking about it in doom and gloom terms but that's just silly and here's why...
As long as you follow the directions, you'll be fine.
However, a ton of people inevitably won't follow directions and they'll likely end up in the spam box.
Which leaves more room in the inbox you and I.
That's why I think all the people freaking out are being overly dramatic.
This is a really great thing for most of us.
Anytime a hurdle is put up like this, it benefits those of us willing to jump a little higher and penalizes the lazy people.
I see this as a great thing and so should you.
Speaking of email marketing, one of the trainings in my upcoming writing class is all about email.
I just updated my Write, Send, Collect email course and everyone who takes my writing class is going to get it.
I don't mean to toot my own horn, but it freaking blows away most of the stuff I see these supposed email marketing gurus talking about, which is often grossly erroneous advice.
I'm not a fan of talking trash about competitors but there is some blatantly bad advice out there when it comes to email. Some of it is straight up illegal too.
Anyhow, I wanted to let you know that when you take my writing class, we'll spend an entire month on how to leverage email properly.
It's been my bread and butter for 20 years and I'll show you exactly how I do it from A to Z.
There are just three more days to sign up for my writing class and after that the price doubles.
So, now would be a great time for you to decide if you want in or not...

And i'll see you on the other side.

P.S. The reason I sent you this in a blog form format is because if I sent all of this to you in an email, it would likely hit the Gmail Promotions folder or even worse, the spam folder.
Why? Lots of reasons. Many of which I'll be explaining in my Write, Send, Collect program found in the Writing Class found here.
