Living it up…20 Inches at Mt. Hood Meadows

Yeehaa,

Today was such a blast. Alison and I went snowboarding today at Meadows, and the snow was DEEP! Definitely was the best day I’ve had in the last few years.

Alison got mad at me becuase I ducked under the Out-Of-Bounds rope on Heather Canyon.
I just had to. It was complete freshies and almost 2 ft deep. I couldn’t resist. It was worth
risking getting caught by ski patrol.

Had we gotten caught, they are supposed to take our season passes. However, playing dumb
seems to get you by this most of the time.

Descending down the canyon walls with no tracks in front of you is undescribable. It’s almost
feels like your flying. I’ve been waiting for over 3 years to have that ride. Today I got it.

I am truly one blessed kid. The mountain is just minutes away, and I can ride whenever I feel like it. My job totally rocks, even though I do work at least 12 hours a day. I’m extremely grateful for all that I got.

And it even gets better….

The people I have met online have truly opened a whole new world for me. This is definietly the most entertaining time of my life. The skills that are being passed on to me are priceless.

It started with Lynn Terry giving me tips at her forum. Then Ed and Frank taught me the Undies Style. Next Shaune Clarke walked into the picture…

The amount of material I’ve learned from him during the last few months is beyond priceless.

Each day my copywriting gets a bit more ferocious. Sometimes my rants may be a bit provacative, (see yesterday) but hey, that’s me. Actually it’s my blog posts and forum posts that are crazy. My copy is somewhat tamer, but still has some pretty outrageous bits.

One of the best things I have learned from Shaune Clarke’s copywriting program is how to balance the provacative and the serious. There is a time and place for all things, and being aware of it is crucial. If I continually write WILD copy, it may be tough to sell a ebook on Quilting. I think I might lose the poor grandma with my style.

So thanks Shaune, for teaching this young dog some new tricks. It’s the best investment
I’ve ever made online.

Because of all ya’ll super-cool folks, I have the luxury of chillen, snowboarding, and hanging
at the casa instead of heading out to some lame Jobby-Job.

Muchos Gracias Amigos…

  1. Hello Mr. Moffatt,

I think we can all agree that you’ve got Provocative down pat. : )

As is the case with all powerful copy elements, using it “on purpose”
    is the key.

Thanks by the way for referring your pal Cory to the program. Like you,
that dude is about to become another copywriting “Big Dog.”

I’m Canadian and speak a little French so will respond to your
