If the Cubbies make the World Series, I’m gonna get a tattoo of Harry on my body. I’ve been telling Cubbie fans across the world… “This is the year”.
Of course we say that every year, but hey , it never hurts to be optimistic.
Anyways, I was all bitter because I scheduled my Beach Kegger event on the last 2 days of the baseball season. Â The San Diego Padres are still jockeying for playoff position, but last night sort of solidified the likely teams to appear in the playoffs.
Even in the worse case scenario, I’ll get to see Padres play on Monday for the last playoff spot. I’m just torn at the idea of Chicago having to play San Diego in the NLCS.
I love ya San Diego, but nothing gets in the way of the Cubbies this year, not even another Steve Bartman.

I sent you an email with my condolensces on the Padres choke job (with help from the homeplate umpire, in my opinion), but at least our Cubbies are going to take it to the house!
