Over the last six months I’ve been spending much of my time hanging out with actors, comedians and performance artists from around the country. I’ve taken quite a hiatus on my internet marketing businesses in exchange for a bunch of laughs and hanging out with some really cool people.
I’d like to introduce you to two of those people today and ask for your help or ideas. We really want to get this commercial below to air on the next super bowl. Yes, the super bowl! And I know we can do it with your help.
The two guys I’d like to introduce you to are Jon Wilson and Gabe Steinberg. I met both of these funny cats at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood a few months ago and I’m super happy to call them friends.

Anyhow, here’s how you can help us out. Doritos has a contest where people can submit commercials in hopes to win some cash prizes and the chance to have their commercial air during the Super Bowl.
The criteria for winning involves a few different things, but getting views right now is the most important thing. So I’m asking if you’ll give us some love and help boost the view count.
You can view the Crunch Account commercial here…

So I’m reaching out to you, my internet marketing buddies for ideas on how we can propel the amount of views to this video? Any ideas? Obviously I’d be thrilled if you would share it on Facebook, Twitter and other social media channels. That would really help.
However, I’d love to banter around any ideas that could help us get even more views. The commercial is really funny and I think it has a good shot of making it to the finals if we can get the word out in an effective manner.
So friends, what did you think of the video? And, do you have any ideas to help us get more views? Any input would be superb!
Cheers,
Jason

I can’t believe you’re promoting Doritos and Pepsi.
I thought you were a raw foodist.
I don’t believe in many rules or strict diets. Just because I promote raw foods doesn’t mean I don’t shovel my face full of nasty and tasty treats. Don’t you see how much I drink alcohol too? I believe people are free to subscribe, purchase or eat anything they desire. For the record, I think Doritos and Pepsi are dog shit, but if someone wants to eat them I have no problem with that. We’re all smart enough to make grown up decisions and suffer the consequences of them.
That’s awesome man. Good luck. Just threw it up on my facebook page for ya.
I’m guessing it wasn’t recorded on a Flip anyway!

Hello Jason
I think you have the right attitude
Actually anything in moderation is OK
I have a little script to add views.
set it go golfing and come back and hundreds have been added
If 100 people did this lots of views could be added.
Or fiver has people that will add views.
Have a Great Day

Thanks again for this post, Jason. And thanks to everyone who shares or posts or watches our video.
I don’t know about scripts. I’m pretty sure the contest bans using “bots”–those are the same thing, right? Basically, we want to get as many views as we can, but we wouldn’t ask anyone to violate any rules. And with that one caveat, we definitely appreciate any help we can get.
We are trying one idea that Jason mentioned to us. We set up a Twitter account (@crunchaccount), and we’re using Twitter’s search bar to find people talking about Doritos. Then we reply-tweet to them about whatever they tweeted, and ask them to watch our commercial. It’s time-consuming, but it’s personal and I think people like that.
Thanks again to Jason and everyone!
I liked it Man, then I watched a bunch that had more views and I liked it even more.
There’s a bunch of trash out there.
I’ll throw it up on a blog or two and see how we go.
Cheers,
Shane
