Howdy friends,
Sorry for the delay in posting. Moving from Oregon to San Diego was quite an adventure and has left little time for computer dwelling. I’m trying to get in as much playing as possible becuase the 30 Day Challenge will be taking up a bit of my time in July.
So, I’m off to the beach right now to go surfing with the Kernmeister. We had a pretty sweet session the other day, and hopefully today will be some of the same.
As I eagerly await my lady to depart from the shower, I type to you. It is quite apparent that the weather here in San Diego is going to keep me away from my computer much more often. HOOORRAAHHHH!!!. I really do need a break from this thing. Actually, I’ll be working full time
on this little box, but I don’t think I’ll be pulling the 12 hour shifts much anymore. No need to do so, and I just get burned out. It served it’s purpose for learning everything in such a short time, but I definitely feel like some down-time from the computer and some up-time with the sunshine is very important right now.
One thing that totally rules is how fast my cable modem with Cox is here. (Hey no dirty “Cox” jokes) It’s about 3 or 4 times faster then the DSL I was used to back home. And the upload speed crushes what I’m used to as well. So, i’m pretty happy about that.
I just heard about this really amazing restraunt called “The Big Kitchen” in the Golden Hill area.
Will probably head over there tomorrow. Rumor has it, Judy is the nicest lady in SD and breakfast at the Big Kitchen is a memory that will last for ever.
So, any of you have any So-Cal favorites? If so, leave a comment and let me know your favorite place to hang out, eat breakfast, or kick back a few brewski’s in Southern California. I might just take your advice and visit some of the recommendations.
Until next time,
Take care,
J-Mo

Hey Jason,
Well, born and bred in La Jolla, and later Encinitas, I am a total taco shop conissuer(sp?).
So I love Robertos, Albertos, etc…
Specifically, you need to try the Old Mexican Cafe in Old Town. “Awesome” doesn’t really do it justice.
Tio Leo’s in Solona Beach is awesome for eating Mexican with a group of friends.
I’m sure you know of the good places in PB and Mission Beach, so I won’t mention those.
There are so many good fish places in Del Mar and Cardiff by the Sea, that I would need a proper email or phone call to tell you.
Other than those, I’ll have to think of where else I used to hang.
Hope this helps. Check you later,
Cameron
Hey Jason, We haven’t met yet, but I also live in San Diego, and have for many years.
Try “Phil’s barbeque” in Mission Hills, off Washington St. Yum.
P.S. I’ve joined the TDCII and also signed under “team profit”.
Looking forward to it, and possibly meeting you one day.
Ray.
North Dakota’s Traill County wants change in economic development law
HILLSBORO light bulb – Officials in Traill County say light bulb want the Legislature to change North Dakota law so that economic development groups can hold stock in private businesses.
Patrick’s Roadhouse in Santa Monica is one of the best places to hang, chil, grab a few beers and watch life go by. Very mellow with a great cast of characters walking in and out.
A Musician friend from LA brought back to Canada
an In and Out Burger if you can believe it!
I heated it up and it was Damn good and sloppy, with loads of onions and mustard. Delish!
Sorry if anyone including Mo are vegetarians.
I’m still a red meat lover. This reminds of the Bionic Burger guy.
